There are many reasons why individuals may experience neck pain,
such as sleeping in a bad position, but the underlying problem involves neck and spinal muscles.

The spine can be curved, twisted or misaligned by the various movements and stresses of daily living, work or play. Once the spine is misaligned, prolonged or repetitive contractions of muscles attached to the spinal bones in the neck and back will aggravate the misalignment.

Muscle contractions in the spine can be caused by many factors. Physical stress can be caused by keeping your head in a contracted position for extended periods of time such as painting a ceiling or holding a phone between your head and shoulder. Whiplash or any form of neck injury can also be physical causes. Emotional stress, such as feelings of anger, fear, worry, hatred, and jealousy will cause the spinal muscles to contract.

Medications will not help remove the subluxation (misalignment) or nerve pressure, they only mask the symptoms which can be dangerous because you will not recognize your limitations and risk more severe injury, not to mention the dangerous side effects.

Although the stresses that cause contractions in our spinal muscles should be avoided,  the doctors at Lindsey Chiropractic
Care can manipulate and realign the spinal bones so that the contractions will not cause further problems and pain.
The doctors at
Lindsey Chiropractic Care

are trained to find the source
of your neck pain.

If the source of pain is from a misalignment, they will use
gentle, drug-free techniques
to reduce the pressure on
 the nerves and allow for
your body to heal naturally.
